Job Description:
The client is seeking a highly experienced System Specialist / Technical Project Leader to support their Healthcare and Medical Technology (MT) Systems unit.
This role is part of an ongoing initiative to establish a specialized team responsible for managing and supporting advanced medical technology systems, including laboratory, radiology, and dental systems.
Until permanent resources are fully onboarded, the client requires a consultant to provide hands-on technical and project leadership support.
The role demands strong on-site presence in Luleå and active collaboration with cross-functional teams across IT and medical technology domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee incident handling and problem resolution, including advanced troubleshooting of complex IT systems
- Coordinate and execute change management activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and system investigations to support decision-making
- Plan, perform, and validate system testing, verification, and commissioning activities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and checklists
- Lead technical projects and assignments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope
- Manage system-related requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support administrative functions such as planning, tracking, and reporting of technical activities
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in managing and maintaining complex IT systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and case/incident management
- Experience in preparing technical documentation and system architecture diagrams (system sketches)
- Solid background in technical investigations and analysis
- Hands-on experience with IT change management processes
- Proven capability in technical project or assignment leadership
- Strong planning, coordination, and control skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities
Total Experience Required:
Senior Level (Typically 7+ years in relevant domain)
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in Swedish (mandatory)
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
Additional Requirements:
- Must be physically present in Luleå for the entire duration of the assignment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently and guide teams
- Prior experience in at least one similar assignment (to be documented and submitted)
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
